What's Good? Saving Lots While Supporting Local!
From the food and products we sell to the causes we support to the community that owns Honest Weight, local is at the core of everything we do. The benefits of supporting local are plenty and range from environmental and economical to taste and nutrition. Local to us is within 250 miles of our store, though we carry lots of products we love that are from right here in the Capital Region.
Ithaca Cold-Crafted is changing the hummus game and we are into it! Not only do they use fresh ingredients like cold-pressed lemon juice and raw cloves of garlic, but they also pasteurize with cold pressure rather than heat to maintain the taste and health benefits of all that good stuff. This hummus tastes fresh, yes it does!
Based in Albany and family-owned, Our Daily Eats has been crafting granolas, muesli, and roasted seasoned nuts for 15 years. Now, save on sixteen different Our Daily Eats blends in our Bulk Department—and don’t forget to bring your own clean jars or bags to fill for a zero-waste shopping trip!
Bilinski’s crafts their natural and organic chicken sausages just a few miles north of Albany using simple methods, whole ingredients, and responsibly raised, free-range chickens. As with all meat sold at Honest Weight, Bilinski’s sausages are antibiotic- and hormone-free. And all of their delicious flavors are perfect for grilling!
CBD is everywhere these days, but it’s not all created equal. One of our favorites is Sunsoil (formerly Green Mountain CBD). Their full-spectrum products are certified organic and triple-tested by third party labs for purity and potency. See what suits you best: capsules, edible salve, or oil!
We love this family-run brewery and their bright, plant-based tonics. Their kombucha is fermented in oak barrels in a Troy church using the best local, organic, & wild-harvested ingredients.
Currently run by its third generation of Bulichs, Bulich Farm in Catskill provides us with fresh, local, organically-grown mushrooms. Serve these portobellos on buns or sliced in pasta salad!
To meet the high demand for eggs from pasture-raised hens, Oliver and Shauna of Oliver’s Organic Eggs have partnered with other family farms to offer ny eggs—affordably priced, great tasting, fresh & nutritious.
